Dear My Ghost Sibling : Come, I Swallowed All Sorrows

March 2020, “Symbols that eradicate sadness for my ghost sibling and for all who were seldom ghosts, come here.”

Music written by musician Jang Myung Sun for the exhibition of painter and ceramist Kim Sung Hye, who spoke and sang and prepared for mourning and care.

Myungsun conjured up an angel connecting humans and gods.

A simultaneous number meaning “Angel is by your side”, inspired by Angel No. 444, all 7 tracks have the same running time of 4 minutes 44 seconds, and each title is given the name of a Christian or Muslim angel.

Beginning with the refined hymn voice of Archangel Michael, innocent performances such as water, fire, wind, and children, resoluteness and destruction, surveillance, the sound of dialogue in the middle world, and the sound dance of the angel Remiel, which symbolizes salvation after death. The whole track is finished with a primordial sound, a sound that matches the inhalation included in the movement.

I know that Myungsun tried to give the sound of an angel to a ghost or to friends who should not be ghosts in their lives, and she wanted to tell the liveliness of life to me, who had to prepare this place of mourning.

-In addition, I can't see it with my own eyes, but I love to send my heart to the ghosts who will be watching from the side of the world. Feeling the smell. Supporting the symbol.

An album made for a friend's condolences.

Throughout the work together, Sung hye was fiercely concerned about death, separation, and life.
In fact, I wanted to get rid of all of Sunghye's sadness who wants to swallow people's sadness. I made music with that mind.
It would be great if everyone could imagine the people who have disappeared from this world without guilt, fear, like a very young child laughing at a funeral
It is not music for music, but for prayer and mourning, made like blowing a lantern or making a talisman. I would like to express my gratitude to Sunghye for allowing me to do good work in a new way.
